I have my websites up and running on bluehost.com, blue host is top among shared web hosting services, they offer very great discounts to attract customers, their support is great, some of the services like site migration is an additional service and expensive.
For some one who are blogging and creating websites for small scale, blue host is the best fit. their custom control panel is very easy to use. all the options in cpanel are there.
you can upgrade to higher and faster packages without moving or spending time with tech support. which is good for beginners.
Overall bluehost is very good hosting provider and value for money.

I build websites for a living.

I have been using Bluehost for several years now.

They do give a lot of features for a good price.

Tech support had always been good in the past but recently has taken a dive. Dec. 2007

They “upgraded” their email servers and email went down for a day. I would think that an upgrade would be something that is planned so notice should be sent. But no notice was sent and customers email was not delivered.

Ok not a good practice. I was not informed till my customer asked why they where not recieving their email and I contacted Bluehost and got a canned answer that I could hardly give my customer.

I contacted them again for clarification and did not get any answer.

Having to deal with support issues myself I try to always be polite and to the point when dealing with any tech support personnel.

So have I made this assessment from one poor blunder?…no it seems a few of my last support questions have gone totally unanswered.

Which leads me to wonder if they are out growing their support.

I have to be proactive in insuring my current and future customers happiness.So I believe I am going to find a different hosting solution.
So far 1&1 seems to get high marks with some other web designers.

I am here posting just to help other designers not to slander Blue host. But I feel that for about the same money there are more professional hosting companies out there.

I don't think I have ever faced any issue with the services provided by Bluehost India. They services are amazingly smooth and in India you do not normally get smooth services like this.
Usually, I trouble Bluehost India support team a lot for my queries they listen everything very politely. Their support team seems to be very professional, knowledgeable and helpful too.

The first thing they say on their Indiana subdomain is "the best web hosting". It is obviously not true. However, these guys don't try to be objective. If you look at their "Cloud" offerings you'd see "Unmetered" space and bandwidth. These things say a lot. If you need any quality web host, try to find a local company that offers fair amount of computing resources at reasonable price.

I purchased a 3 year hosting plan from BlueHost on a Saturday. They assigned me a temporary domain name which support told me would last from 25 minutes to 5 hours. During this time I was able to access Wordpress and start putting the page for my blog together. After 5 hours I contacted BlueHost live chat to ask how long it would take for my domain name to become active. The person on chat never seemed to understand my problem. I even copied and pasted the error message from their site that explained the situation but to no avail. I couldn't see how my blog looked or access email while the domain remained with a temporary address. On Sunday I tried 2 more times with live chat but couldn't get my problem resolved. I tried again on Monday and after chatting for a few minutes I realized that I wasn't going to have my problem resolved and asked for a refund. The person took my information and said that I would be getting my refund. The refund hadn't been posted to my credit card account on Tuesday so I called customer support and talked to a person who understood my original problem and offered to solve it. I said no, I would just like to get my refund. They told me that I wouldn't be getting the refund for my domain name purchase because the person who was processing the refund on Monday didn't complete the process and it had been more than 3 days since I had purchased the domain name and they would only refund that purchase during the first 3 days. (By the way, Tuesday was 3 days after Saturday) I received an email detailing my refund (less the price paid for the domain name) on Tuesday but it hadn't been posted to my credit card on Wednesday. I filed a claim with the credit card company and they have issued me a provisional credit.

I know that stuff happens but when a problem is brought to the attention of a support person the problem should be worked on. The live chat people should have been able to solve my problem or pushed it up to someone who could. If you use BlueHost I would recommend that you use their phone support instead of live chat for even the most simple problems.

As a Web Designer, I Test Lots of Web Hosting Provider. After Worst Experience with BlueHost India in 2014. I think why not take One more Test drive of BlueHost.in. So, I Book One more Basic Plan with them.

And You Can't Beleive I Start Facing lots of Issue within First Week.

Bluehost Start Showing me "Resources Limit Exceed" With Simple Wordpress Theme and 5 to 10 visits Daily. So, I Reinstall Wordpress Again and the Same problem Happens again.

And Their Support is More Worst then Hosting. In this issue, I talked with many Experts in India. And all Have the same Answer Don't Choose Indian Servers.

So, Guys, I Swear That I Never Choose Bluehost India Hosting Again.

Godaddy is my current hosting provider . i have linux and plesk (which I accedently bought ) i request everyone not to choose goaddy if you don’t wanna loose your traffic . bluehost must be better than godaddy for sure.

Don't buy any product from bluehost. Ye aap ki mehnat ki kmai chori krte hai. Pehele aap ko online bhugtan k liye khe gey. Aur jub aap online pese jmakrwaao gey to aap ke pese le ude gey. Inho ne mera 5500 rs. Chori kr liya hai aur jub bhi inse baat kro to ye ek hi jwab dete hai ki mail kro. Mai pichle ek mhine se inko call kr k aur mails kr k thak gya meri koi payment wapis nhi aai.. To dosto apna pesa bhluhost india mai mat invest krna nhi to aap bhi bus mail krne aur call krne k layek reh jaao gey.
